What is Sydney Salon?

Sydney Salon’s events are based on the concept of the French Salons of the 17th and 18th century, which were designed to 'either please or educate', and involve some of Sydney's leading academic, media, political, cultural and business minds. 

Designed to look and feel like a dinner party, at a typical Salon, our provocateur (speaker) engages with an audience of around 60 business leaders, academics, policy makers and members of the general public to provide their view on a specific topic or idea, then it is over to those in the room to discuss it in an open platform, or conversational format. 

The Sydney Salon is a not-for-profit organisation.
